Refund Policy:
- Request for refund can only be made no later than 20 days before the start of the event. 20% administration fee will be charged.
Rules and Regulations:
- All players require a valid CFC ID. Players renew or create a new one via the JustGo system.
- Time control: 90 minutes + 30 seconds incr.
- Players must write all their moves on the scoresheets provided.
- Requests for a bye (1/2 pt.) may only be made before the start of the tournament for Rounds 1 to 5 only. Maximum of two ½ point byes may be requested. Byes in subsequent rounds, additional to two, or any byes requested after the start of the tournament, will be given 0-points.
- A bye means the player is unavailable on a round and will not be paired.
- Clocks and chess set are provided.
- CFC and FIDE rated for sections: Open and U2000; U1600 will only be CFC rated.
- No food permitted in the playing hall.
- The use of electronic devices is strictly forbidden in the playing venue.
