Refund Policy:
- Request for refund can only be made no later than 20 days before the start of the event. 20% administration fee will be charged.
Rules and Regulations:
- All players require a valid CFC membership. Players renew or create a new one via the JustGo system.
- Time control: 90 minutes + 30 seconds incr.
- Players must write all their moves on the scoresheets provided.
- Requests for a bye (1/2 pt.) may only be made before the start of the tournament for rounds 1 and 2 only. Maximum of two ½ point byes may be requested. No byes allowed for last round (requests for a bye on last round will receive 0 point bye).
- A bye means the player is unavailable on a round and will not be paired.
- Tie-breaks: According to CFC handbook.
- Clocks and chess set are provided.
- CFC and FIDE rated for sections: U18 Open/Girls, U16 Open/Girls, U14 Open/Girls. All other sections will only be CFC rated.
