JtM National Training Program for Canadian Youths: Application for CFC SubsidyApplication now closedThe Chess Federation of Canada will provide $500 subsidy to a select few Junior Players to be used towards the tuition for the National Youth Training Program provided by the Juniors to Masters Chess Academy (JtM). Successful Applicants will receive the $500 CFC subsidy and will be responsible to pay the remaining portion of their tuition, i.e., pay $500 + GST/HST.
Term covers 16 group training sessions during September to December 2024.
- Skype recordings will be made available if at all possible so that those who miss a group session due to a chess tournament will not miss out on the great learning.
FORMAT: Weekly online group training: Master Lecture (1.5 hrs.) + Training Games (approx.1 hr.).
There are limited spots available for players to apply. Deadline to submit Application Form is:

Juniors to Masters Chess Academy Inc. is the provider of the National Training Program for Canadian Youths, as sanctioned by the Chess Federation of Canada. Juniors to Masters Chess Academy Inc. was founded by
GM Gergely Szabo and
Victoria Doknjas. GM Gergely Szabo has been Team Canada’s Head Coach at WYCC, WCCC, World U16 Youth Olympiad, and the Women’s Olympiad. Victoria Doknjas has been Team Canada’s Head of Delegation at multiple WYCCs and NAYCCs.
Additionally, JtM In-House Masters include published chess book authors (Everyman Chess),
FM Joshua Doknjas and
FM John Doknjas, as well as
NM Neil Doknjas,
IM Adrian Musat,
IM Nicholas Vettese,
GM Shawn Rodrigue-Lemieux, and
