Juniors to Masters Winter Open Results - Juniors to Masters Chess Academy Inc.

Results for the Juniors to Masters Winter Open on Feb 15, 2021 are now official. Congratulations to IM Mihnea Costachi who won first place with 4.5 pts/5 games in the Open Section! IM George-Catalin Ardelean, Carina D'Souza, Anni Guo, and Atharva Srinivas all tied for 2nd Place, each scoring 4 pts/5 games.

Congratulations to Jack Li and Shikib Mehri, who are Co-Champions for the U1200 Section, each scoring 4 pts/5 games, and both playing in their first CFC rated tournament! Tied for 3rd Place are Gabriel Uy, Haoze (Dennis) Wang, and Ishaan Kelkar.

Juniors to Masters Chess Academy Inc. is the provider of the National Training Program for Canadian Youths, as sanctioned by the Chess Federation of Canada. Juniors to Masters Chess Academy Inc. was founded by GM Gergely Szabo and Victoria Doknjas. GM Gergely Szabo has been Team Canada’s Head Coach at WYCC, WCCC, World U16 Youth Olympiad, and the Women’s Olympiad. Victoria has been Team Canada’s Head of Delegation at multiple WYCCs and NAYCCs.
