Special Team Battle for the Winning Teams of the International Junior Team League

On March 13, the Special Team Battle for the Winning Teams of the International Junior Team League had lots of great action! It was held on lichess.org.

Big Thank Yous go out to our Titled Players Team for making this an even more special event:  GM Gergely Szabo, IM George-Catalin Ardelean, WGM Maïli-Jade Ouellet, FM Joshua Doknjas, FM John Doknjas, FM Nicholas Vettese, and NM Henry Zhang.

Special Shout out to the Overall Top 3 Scorers: FM Joshua Doknjas, WGM Maïli-Jade Ouellet, and FM Nicholas Vettese.

Congratulations to the Top 3 (not in the Titled Players' Team):  NCM Neil Doknjas, Carina D’Souza, and Andrei-Cristian Secrieru. 

Title Players' Team won the Team Battle with an overwhelming 145 pts. -- all 7 Players were the Top 7 Scorers. 

Outstanding job by the JtM Relentless Rooks with 61 pts.

Juniors to Masters Chess Academy Inc. is the provider of the National Training Program for Canadian Youths, as sanctioned by the Chess Federation of Canada. Juniors to Masters Chess Academy Inc. was founded by GM Gergely Szabo and Victoria Doknjas. GM Gergely Szabo has been Team Canada’s Head Coach at WYCC, WCCC, World U16 Youth Olympiad, and the Women’s Olympiad. Victoria has been Team Canada’s Head of Delegation at multiple WYCCs and NAYCCs.
