WIM Svitlana Demchenko, WGM Maili-Jade Ouellet, and WGM Qiyu Zhou Qualify to Women's World Cup!

Congratulations to WIM Svitlana Demchenko, WGM Maili-Jade Ouellet, and WGM Qiyu Zhou -- all of them will be representing Canada at the Women's World Cup in Sochi, Russia in July 2021.

Having worked with them not only in private, but also on a number of events representing Team Canada (World Youth Chess Olympiad, Women's Olympiad), I know personally how dedicated and hardworking these extraordinary players are. I'm wishing all three of them great success in their encounters with top-level players at the World Cup!

Juniors to Masters Chess Academy Inc. is the provider of the National Training Program for Canadian Youths, as sanctioned by the Chess Federation of Canada. Juniors to Masters Chess Academy Inc. was founded by GM Gergely Szabo and Victoria Doknjas. GM Gergely Szabo has been Team Canada’s Head Coach at WYCC, WCCC, World U16 Youth Olympiad, and the Women’s Olympiad. Victoria has been Team Canada’s Head of Delegation at multiple WYCCs and NAYCCs. 

Additionally, JtM In-House Masters include published chess book authors (Everyman Chess), FM Joshua Doknjas and FM John Doknjas, as well as NCM Neil Doknjas, and FM Nicholas Vettese.
